setenv XENVIRONMENT ./Xsplitxsplit &Both commands are necessary to start xsplit. The first one sets the so called "resource file" whereas the second one executes the program.
Result
The xsplit window will pop up and show two empty text input fields, RHF
source table and Destination directory, and four push buttons.
The RHF source table is the file where you want to take your data from,
i.e. the file you like to split up into separate atom data files. The
Destination directory is the directory where you want to save the
atom data files.
Result
A file selection box will pop up where you can browse your directories.
[...]/xa/DATA/rhf.tables and click on
OK.
Result
The file selection box vanishes and the selected file is displayed in the
RHF source table input field.
/tmp. (Alternatively, you can click again on the push button
beside the input field and select a directory.)

The mouse pointer changes into a watch which means that the "splitting up"
process has started. Shortly afterwards a message window will pop up and tell
you that the Extraction [has] finished.. After clicking on
OK it disappears again. The text input fields are erased and you
can quit xsplit now.
Cancel push button.
- Select a shell window and enter
ls /tmp.
Result
The xsplit window disappears and the contents of the /tmp directory are
listed. There you will find for each atom a new subdirectory where the atom
data files were saved.
